Alphonsa Bhavan, Dewarghatta was established on 23rd January 1987 in the diocese of Raipur. The first members of the community were Sr.
Irene, Sr. Lissa, Sr. Clarence and Sr. Jeena Rose. Sisters are engaged in
social work, medical care and evangelization. A dispensary was started on on
the same day. Recent years the diocese started a Hindi Medium school and our
sisters extend their service in the ministry of education also. Besides this
sisters find time to engage in family apostolate and pastoral activities. |
