Jeevadan Convent, Lingampet

Jeevadan Convent was established at Lingampet in the year 1978. The members of this community were Sr. Crispin, Sr. Paulsy, Sr. Sudha and Sr. Sujatha. The convent and the hostel was constructed in the land donated by Mr. Lakshmikantham. They started a dispensary, later a 20 bedded hospital and a village Mobile Medical Unit. Gradually the hospital was closed down due to the lack of patients and it was converted into an old age home and dispensary. Later recognizing the need of the locality we started a primary school at this station in this year.
