Alphonsa Convent, Ramakrishnapur

Alphonsa Convent had its humble beginning on 20th  June 1989. The authorities of Singreni Collieries Company Ltd. invited the sisters of FCC to start a school for the employees’ children. When the school was constructed the convent was shifted to the school building.  The pioneer members were Sr. Alphonsa, Sr. Francilet, Sr. Lissy vadakkel and Sr. Renjitha. Later due to the opencast mines our school was shifted to A-Zone area on 12th  June 2012 and sisters stay there in the school building itself.

The present activities are:-

i. Apostolate of education

ii. Evangelization and Pastoral activities.
