Alphonsa Convent, Chinthakani was started on 25th May 1998.
The first members of the community were Sr. Sudha, Sr. Lissy Vadakkel
and Sr. Elsy Joseph. In the beginning they were engaged in education,
evangelization and Social work activities. Since 2013 the management of the
remedial school and free boarding was handed over to us by the bishop. The
present apostolates are:- i. Education ii. Evangelization and
social work activities iii. Boarding for poor
